What We Stand For
Women in the hospitality industry are often placed under extraordinary pressure in their line of work.
Unfortunately, too many women face this challenge alone, as it can often be hard to find support which recognises the reality of working in hospitality as a woman.
Venus Vinifera was formed to change this. We’re committed to building a community for women in spirits, wine and beer, so that the culture for women in the hospitality industry can change for the better.
Whilst VV is primarily a community for education, we aim to build a community that allows all women to be safe and included.

Code Of Conduct
To be a member of VV means to want to be in a safe and inclusive educational environment. Every person who is at our events or uses our online resources deserves this. We have no tolerance for antisocial behaviour, discrimination or harassment. To be part of this community is to accept this code of conduct and adhere to it at all times. Paying The Rent
Venus Vinifera acknowledges the stolen land of the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal & Ngambri peoples that we get to gather on and pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging.
As part of of this acknowledgement and out of respect we are committed to paying 5% of each membership fee to Pay the Rent Grassroots Collective.
Memberships are free for First Nations peoples.
